What is the Thursday’s Nonprofits Profit
at Madam’s Organ Fundraiser Program?

The Thursday’s Nonprofits Profit at Madam’s Organ fundraiser program began in 2005 as a way for Madam’s Organ to help local nonprofits raise money and awareness for their causes.

The fundraisers are held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. each Thursday. Featured nonprofits receive $1 from every drink sold and 20 percent of the food sales between 5:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. Nonprofits are also allowed to hold silent auctions or drawings, sell merchandise, and take donations on site to maximize the fundraising opportunity.

Here’s how to have your organization featured at Madam’s Organ:

Come down to Madam’s Organ Blues Bar anytime from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. for our happy hour fundraiser, and stay all night to hear live music and keep our fundraiser efforts going strong!

You don't have to donate a dime - just drink or eat. For each drink you order, $1 goes to us. Also, 20 percent of the food sales go to the nonprofit, so be sure to indulge in some of the best soul food in town! On top of the $1 donation for each drink, Madam's also has a $1 off drinks happy hour special until 8:00 p.m.

At the Madam’s Organ Happy Hour on Thursdays, you can enjoy the atmosphere of a live blues bar and soul food restaurant that has been repeatedly voted one of the top 20 in the entire country. Leave it to Madam's Organ to give you an opportunity to drink for a cause OR, for all of you Madam's regulars out there, to give you a cause for a drink!

3. Contact Madam’s to let us know what your plans are: Auction, raffle, contest? Will you need a mic? We’ll need to know how many people you estimate will attend.

4. Get your literature, merchandise, auction items, etc., together and bring them down to Madam’s between 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. on the day of your fundraiser.

5. Be ready to network, drink, eat and raise some money!
